Featuring an all-aluminum coil with anti-corrosive fin coating, a pre-installed composite drain pan, and a built-in refrigerant leak detection system, it connects seamlessly to compatible Durastar outdoor units using low-GWP R-454B refrigerant. The coil interface simplifies RDS furnace integration, and compatibility with the DRSTAT102C communicating thermostat ensures precise control. Rated for low ambient operation down to -22°F, it provides reliable heating and cooling in virtually any climate.

What is an HVAC evaporator coil?
Evaporator coils are located inside your home and work with your air conditioner and furnace. What is the benefit of an all-aluminum coil?
Unlike copper which may rust over time, all-aluminum coils do not. In addition, they are more resistant to micro-leaks which increases the longevity and efficiency of your unit.
What is the difference between an 'A' coil and 'N' coil?
‘A’ coils are formed using two slabs of fins – these types of coils have a surface area similar to a slab coil, however, they are installed without transition ducting. Alternatively, ‘N’ coils use three fin slabs. This arrangement increases the coil’s surface area and, therefore, accommodates more refrigerant. As a result, it operates more efficiently and generates more heat.
